Disability Inclusion

For this project, we were asked to make a piece focusing on disability inclusion. So, I drew a simple drawing of a silhouette of a person in a wheelchair, holding up a heavy weight. I have never drawn a silhouette before, especially not of a person, so this was incredibly difficult. I decided to continue working digitally, as it has been working well for me so far. This also allows it to be photographed really easily. I first worked on using shape to create the general outline, since there are no real details needed to be added, the general outline was incredibly important. I personally really like how this piece came out, and I think the message is is very clear and simple, and overall results in a pretty neat and nice piece. Overall this piece changed a bunch, as I had no idea really what I wanted to do, or how to do it. So, this piece changed a ton, and resulted in something I am quite proud of. If I were to continue working on this piece, I would probably add some text, and maybe some really simple colored background, but overall I like how it turned out. I would also change the heavy weight, as it looks a little warped.
