We started at the Cliff House Campsite (grid ref: TM 474 688) as we were staying there but, if you are on a day trip, then I would start at the National Trust car park at the Minsmere Cliffs cafe (Grid ref: TM 476 677) or the Sizewell Car Park where there is also a cafe in the summer.

This circular walk takes you along the shingle coast, past the RSPB Minsmere Nature Reserve to the Sizewell Nuclear Power Stations. Here you can see the cormorants resting on the old outflows and hoards of gulls feeding off the warm water outflow from Sizewell B. The route then cuts inland through woods and heathland, through the village of Eastbridge with its pub. Then up through the western edge of RSPB Minsmere and Dunwich Heath.
