Goodwood Country Park
At the eastern end of Goodwood Racecourse is an entrance to the car park for this piece of woodland and the Goodwood Country Park. The map shows a pleasant 4.2km route on the estate paths through a variety of trees and flowers. Most of the trees in this area of woodland were destroyed by the great storm of 1987 and this wood is a testament to the replanting programme that took place immediately afterwards.
Although there is a route marked on the map, the paths are plentiful and give ample opportunity to devise your own route.
