Monkeberg

This is a flat, mainly paved, 7.9km walk along the eastern shore of the Keil Fjord.   You can shorten the route or miss parts by hopping on the SFK Ferry which hops from Keil to the east bank.

Take the ferry from Keil to Monkeberg water front.  Follow the path north, past the U-boat memorial to Laboe.  The walking is easy and mainly paved with views out across the the Forde.   There are boards in  german along the way pointing out points of interest.  There is a good mobile signal allowing the use of Google Translate on the texts.
