Porth Dinllaen

This 5.5km (3 mile) stroll takes you round the Porth Danllaen headland and includes sandy, dog friendly beaches and a pub.

Park in the National Trust Car Park at Porth Dinllaen. 2021 this was free to members and £5 for non-members.

Check the state of the tide from the view point at the end of the car park- you may need to scramble of rocks at high tide if you take the beach route.

Take the path to the beach. To the left is dog friendly. Follow the beach round until you reach the little village with the pub and climb up from here.

Follow the coast path around the headland and round the edge of the golf course. There is a further beach and Lifeboat station part way round that you can descend to if you wish and a National Marine Lookout station on the headland.

Return on the Right of Way across the middle of the Golf Course and the road back to the car park.
