Walked: 23rd September 2023
This 8.5km walk starts from the British Camp Car Park near Little Malvern and follows the ridge of the hills north to Great Malvern. It can either be done using two cars or there is a path along the lower slopes which allows you to retrace your steps back to the car park in Little Malvern. Serious walkers in your group could walk back to get the car, leaving the rest to enjoy Great Malvern whilst they wait to be picked up.
The county boundary between Worcestershire and Herefordshire runs along the ridge allowing a view of two counties. On a clear day the Cotswolds and Black Mountains can be seen.
From the pay car park, cross the road and head up the lane to the right of the cafe. There are public toilets here. Turn right up the footpath and keep following the path north along the top of the hills.
