Tintern Loop

6.5 miles starting in Tintern, climbing the hill and looping along the Dyke path past the Devil's Pulpit and a stretch of the actual 8th century dyke before looping back down along a stretch of the disused railway.Alternatively, we started from the campsite at Beeches Farm (see the map of the route), did the flattish dyke path first and stopped for lunch in the Tintern Mill (dogs welcome). This left time to explore the Abbey and finish with the steady climb back to the campsite.
