This little 3.9km (2.5mile) walk takes you through heath, coast and salt mash. Start at the Wolf House café, Hollins Lane, Silverdale (Grid ref: SD 462 742, What3Words -///outboard.socket.filled). We stayed at the beautiful Gilbraltar Farm Campsite. This walk features great views out across Morecombe Bay. Beware of the tides and quicksand if you wander from the path onto the sands.
Take Sand Lane down towards the sea. On the right, about half way down, is a footpath. Take this to loop through the heathland down to the beach.
Follow the narrow road and then the grassy path at the foot of the hill until you meet a footpath heading back up the hill on the left. Take this up through heathland, followed by farmland back to the start.
