Things to gather:
1. Milk jugs. The normal translucent ones. If you put a finger inside, you should be able to see it move from the outside.
2. Rinse with warm soapy water, and keep them jugs to dry.
3. Seed starter mix. Buy a few bags when you get a good deal.
4. A roll of sticking tape that will not peel off from wet surfaces.
5. A permanent marker pen.
