Tomorrow is the full moon. Complete any transplants you have to do. Weather gets warmer and they won’t survive.
Put turmeric, ginger, arbi and sweet potatoes into the ground if you haven’t done so already.
Sweet potatoes can form roots as they spread and surprise you with harvests along the vine. Plant them where they have soft soil to spread and possibly get rooted.
Arbi will do well with wet feet. Plant them where the rain water collects. Yield is better in full sun. But the plant can grow in partial shade and provide showy large leaves.
Ginger will be happy with afternoon shade. Turmeric can take direct sun all day.
All these root crops cannot be fertilized mid way through their growth. Add compost before sowing.
