You cannot direct sow tiny seeds. They will be washed away or worms will get the tender plants.
Big seeds, you must direct sow. They don’t like being transplanted.
Direct sow: okra, beans, gourds, cucumber, squashes, Moringa. Sow from now all the way until end May. You will have a harvest through the season.
Seedling trays: peppers, egg plants, tomatoes, tomatillo.
Seeds of greens like amaranthus you have to direct sow in patches.
Today is ideal for sowing. Sow, one rain and four days of sun. Excellent conditions for germination.
