If you wish to collect horses manure for your yard, it is available for free at the address below:
Jennifer L Buck Stables, 1323 Blackwell Rd, Marietta GA 30066.
Monday to Friday: 9 AM - 3 PM; Saturday and Sunday: 9 AM - 5 PM.
The manure is free from chemicals, weed killers and pesticides. It is high quality, mixed with brown matter and ready to apply to large plants. This manure is quite cured, hence neutral ph.
Large bushes and trees will take a direct application. 3-4 inches away from main step. For smaller crops and seedlings, store in a bin with brown leaves cover in a shaded area. Small seedlings, annual vegetables and greens need fully composted manure.
Rules:
1. Open the gate, drive in, close the gate and then park. Ponies may be outside and run out if gates are left open.
2. Bring your own shovel, gloves and buckets. Quite light to shovel and fill.
3. Vehicle can be backed up right to the pile.
4. You can only go to the manure pile and collect it.
5. Kindly restrict your trip to manure collection alone. Do not let the children roam the farm, or feed the animals. That needs you to sign off a liability form, and she is too busy to entertain farm visitors.
Many thanks for your cooperation.
Caution!!!
Direct application of fresh horse manure could kill your plants. Make sure that the manure is well decomposed....this is applicable to any kind of manure (horse/cow/goat/deer).
