While planting peppers and chillies keep these in mind:
1. Peppers don’t care much for top up nutrition. Except for fluids. Make sure you have added all the compost, bone meal, egg shells and manure the plant needs into the soil.
2. Peppers love their siblings. Plant two or three of them together. They will thrive
3. Once the plant has established, pinch of the main stem. Early branching means a more stronger plant.
4. Don’t water a little every day. The plants health depends on its deep and extensive root system. Drying off between watering is what helps the roots grow and spread. Water once a week, deeply. Half and inch. Or one gallon per plant.
