One last step, and then you’re ready to start work as a freelance editor for Scribendi.

Send a message to freelance@scribendi.com to say that you’re ready to test your profile. We will set up a test document for you in EditorWorks™. You will download and rename the test document, make an arbitrary change to the file, and leave a comment. You will add some editor notes, upload the test document, and complete the order. This will ensure that your software is anonymized and that you are comfortable with downloading and uploading on EditorWorks™ before your first order. Once the test is complete, we will activate your profile, allowing you to see and select assignments.
