Returning the File
Returning the File
You should also check the other end of the table for the Original and Revised flags for these files. Your revised file size will probably be bigger or smaller than the original; it is highly unlikely it will be exactly the same size. When you finish uploading your files, download them and double-check that you have sent the correct files. Make sure that the tracked changes are visible when the TRACKED document opens and that comments are still visible when the CLEAN document opens.
If you have uploaded the wrong file, or realize that you meant to check something else in the revised file and need to swap out what you have uploaded, you can use the "Remove" button to get that file out of the Return queue.
You can send back more than one file per order if necessary. Additional files should also have the correct Order #XX prefix and suffix in the file name. (Note the system doesn't show the Order #XX prefix on this screen, but it does check for it.) In rare cases, many files may need to be uploaded, and some Internet browsers have limits on how much can be uploaded. Please make sure that all required files are attached to the order. If you encounter this situation, and are unsure of how to proceed, please contact Customer Service.
The status flags and file sizes of additional files will be shown in the table as well.
Once you have uploaded all the files for the order, refer to the pre-release checklist.
When you're absolutely sure you have the right files and the right notes, it's time to release the processed order back to the client. Be aware that files and notes go directly back to the client. Thus, if you have any comments for Customer Service or the Accounts department, use e-mail to relay your message, NOT the return order screen.
You should get a confirmation screen that looks similar to the one below. If you do not get this screen, contact Customer Service immediately.
