All material is owned by the customers or by Scribendi. The performance of work with Scribendi does not give you any rights to the material.
In performance of your work with Scribendi, we expect that you will not infringe the copyrights, intellectual property rights, or proprietary rights of any third parties.
The credit you get for the work you do with Scribendi comes in the form of your paycheck. We take great pains to assure our clients that they retain all copyrights to their work and that we require no credit or acknowledgement of our role in their final draft.
If a client includes an acknowledgement of Scribendi's editing services in their manuscript or document, remove it and let the client know (by way of a polite comment in the document) that Scribendi doesn't require credit or acknowledgement.
