While the size of files will typically increase slightly after the files have been edited (due to tracked changes, added comments, etc.), a major (and unwanted) increase in file size can sometimes occur. This is typically related to font embedding. This is a configurable option when saving files. This can be disabled by the editor by doing the following:

1. Click "File"

2. Click "Options"

3. Click "Save"

4. Uncheck "Embed fonts in the file"
