Invoicing and Payments
The assignments you complete successfully will be tracked in an area of EditorWorks™ called the Editor's Log. You will be able to check your work history any time you are logged in to EditorWorks™. Payments are issued once a month for the previous month's work. For example, you would be paid for all work completed in October within the first ten days of November. Payments are sent electronically, via Payoneer. This process is automatic, and there is no need to invoice us. This is currently the only method we use to issue payments; we have determined it to be the fastest and cheapest (for both issuing and receiving parties) method to send money around the world. Payoneer won't send out a monthly payment that is less than $10; if there's a payment of less than $10, it will simply be added the subsequent month's payment.
If you haven't already, please set up a Payoneer account. Your Scribendi assignment email address (i.e., the email address you give us so that we may send assignment notices to you) should be the same one you use for your Payoneer account. The account should be in your name. Please also note that all independent contractors must provide two forms of government-issued ID for Scribendi to use for verification purposes.
