Provision of Services

As an independent contractor at Scribendi, you will be expected to perform work for Scribendi honestly, faithfully, industriously, professionally, and in good faith and that you will exercise the degree of care, diligence, and skill that a reasonable and prudent contractor would exercise in similar circumstances.

Working for the Competition

While we expect that you will exercise your full attention and efforts in performing work for Scribendi, we do understand that you may wish to perform services for other organizations. We have no problem with this (hey, we all need to make a buck, right?), provided that

• the provision of these services does not interfere with the performance of your work with Scribendi;

• there is no infringement of intellectual property rights or confidentiality; and

• the work does not bring you or us into a conflict of interest.
