Leading Lines

I took this image from a balcony of the water near the house I was visiting. The subject is the trees and their bark and shape. I took this earlier in the day, but the sun didn't come out this weekend so the sky was overcast like this all weekend. The grey sky and water makes the greens and browns pop because they are brighter. I took this image with my digital camera and I darkened the image to make the colors pop more using photos. I chose to take this image because I like how the trees are curved in different directions and lead to the tops of the trees. The lighting is neutral. You can see the texture of the trees and the trees show lines the trees are close together which shows unity.

This image shows repetition of the trees, leading lines because the tree trunks lead upward to the needle foliage. This picture is mostly in focus this is sharp focus. I didn't change this picture a lot because I liked the light. I used photos to darken the image slightly. There are also lines in the water from the wind which became more obvious when I darkened the image.

This image reminds me of how beautiful nature is even if it's not sunny out. This project relates to my life because I wanted to take a picture to remember this weekend. I chose how to take it. I think this image could be stronger if the trees led to something besides the ground and the top of the trees. To do this I would have to retake this picture or create a different picture.

This image I also like because the water leads towards the bay and the islands. The shorelines also work as leading lines . This isn't my best picture because the drizzle of rain and the fog made it low quality, it is mysterious looking.
