The subject of this image is my brother's feet in red shoes and orange socks against an orange background. I took this image in my room using my door to hang the orange sheet and then I used a desk lamp to create a shadow of his feet. I used my camera to take his picture. I wanted to incorporate my concentration so I used a light to create a shadow and there are a few bright colors. There's color, shape, you can see the texture of the shoes and the sheet, there's positive and negative space with the shadow. There is balance because there are two feet and two shadows.
In this image there is sharp focus because the feet and the sheet are in focus. There is grouping because there are two feet. One of the shadows is framed by the two feet. To take this image I tried multiple angles and looked at them on my laptop. I chose this one and cropped out the sides because the orange ended. I adjusted the lighting in photos and turned up saturation.
To take this image I hung a sheet on my door and had my brother lie on the ground with his feet in the air. I then used a desk lamp as a spotlight to get the shadow. This picture relates to my life because I set it up and I took different angles to capture what my eye saw. I like this image because the feet are pointing in one direction and the shadows are kind of the opposite direction. To make this image completely analogous I could crop out his blue pant legs.
