The subject of these images is my brother and me at our house. In the first one he looks happy about fall and I look unhappy. To make these images I used my camera, a tripod and photoshop. I took the images on a tripod so it didn't move at all, the pictures need to be lined up for the multiplicity edits. I used photoshop to combine images and have selective color. These photos were arranged on the spot with what was there, I wanted them to be outside for natural light. The images are for the most part in sharp focus, except for my brother jumping. In the second one there are leading lines from the porch and the paneling on the house. I had to take a lot of pictures to them right. I edited this images in photoshop because I needed to combine layers using layer masks and then I needed to use color selection. For the first picture I just used a prop that was nearby, the pumpkin and I ended up really liking it for color selection. For my self-portrait you should know that I hate having my picture taken, I prefer to be behind the camera and so I was unhappy about taking a self-portrait. These pictures relate to my life because they are at my house and I created them. I planned them out and used photoshop to create them once I had the pictures. One thing I would change s my expression in my self-portrait, I really don't like all of the versions of myself and would retake the picture with different expressions. It was really fun learning how to use photoshop tools so I enjoyed this project!
