The subject of all these images is trees, they were all taken outside at different times of day and in different locations. To make these images I used my digital camera with my 18-55mm lens. I chose to focus on trees because I being outside and trees are so interesting looking. In each of these images there are lines, value and in most there is color. They trees create a pattern in each image and there is a sense of unity because the branches all lead back to the main tree or trees.

These images all started out raw and on my camera, but I used Photos to edit them. I adjusted the exposure, contrast, saturation and brilliance. I also cropped a few of the pictures to focus on the best part of the image.

I chose to focus on trees because I love being outdoors and trees are all so different and beautiful. There so are many ways to photograph trees; close-ups, from a distance and from ant's-eye view or even bird's eye-view. This project relates to my life because I chose what to photograph and where to photograph, each image is unique. I think that some of these images could be stronger if they were more creative. This could involve editing techniques and different angles.
