This is where you list your Customers, either as a Company with any number of Individuals listed underneath it, or as an Individual.
With a 'single truth' for each customer, there are no duplicate, out-dated or isolated customer records - that means every customer-facing person in your business has access to the most up-to-date version of the customer's details.

When creating or editing a Customer, an Edit Customer window will appear. You can set-up the following for each customer.
When setting up an Individual Customer, an additional tab becomes available.

The Other Detail tab shows the basic information about the company.
If the Customer is listed as a Company, the Contacts tab will show. All the contacts for the business are listed here. An unlimited number of contacts can be listed. You can view all the created Contacts in the CRM Module under Contacts.
Here you can enter the personal information of the Company's Contact Person.
Create custom User Fields for the Contact in Settings & Defaults > User Fields.
Here you can add additional information about the Customers Contact person.
The User Fields tab will only be available if User Fields has been created for the Customer Module. User Fields are fully customisable.
This is where the Default Accounting settings for a Customer will be set-up.
In the Notes tab you are allowed to make notes about the selected customer.
In the Contact Details tab you can enter the basic contact information about the Individual Customer.
The Contact Detail tab is only available when the Customer Type is set to Individual. When the Customer Type is set to Individual the Contacts Tab will no longer be available.
The Other Detail tab is still available to enter the Address and other details of the Individual Customer.
