The Timekeeping module is where you can capture the actual production times, either manually or using the QuickEasy Job Tracker.
You can view the information captured in this module in QuickEasy Reports, grouped by Sales Order, Work Order, Cost Centre, Operator, Customer or Job Category.
Main Menu > Production > Timekeeping > View
This function is used to manually capture time, if you are not using the QuickEasy Job Tracker.
Main Menu > Production > Timekeeping > New/Right-click - Edit
Watch this short video for a quick overview of the QuickEasy Job Tracker:
Follow these steps to set-up the QuickEasy Job Tracker.
3. The Job Tracker needs a Login PIN. To set-up the PIN, navigate (in BOSPrint) to Main Menu > Setup > Staff > Edit > Settings > System > Tracker Login (PIN), and enter a unique PIN for the specific Staff member, and click save. See image below:
The PIN can be two to three digits long. The application will open automatically once it has recognised a valid PIN.
However, if User(1) used a two digit PIN, for example 12, and User(2) used a three digit PIN, for example 123, then User(2) will be logged in as User(1) before he could complete his PIN.
This is because User(2)'s PIN 123, completes User(1)'s PIN 12 first. So for this to work User(2) must set his PIN to anything else that doesn't start with 12.
4. Enter the PIN you've setup in Staff Settings. Once you have entered the correct PIN, the Job Tracker will automatically open.
Follow these steps on how to use the QuickEasy Job Tracker:
A. Active Jobs - This field shows all the active jobs for the current Staff member.
B. Queue - This field will show all the jobs Queued for the selected Stage. The Jobs are listed by Work Order or Sales Order number and displayed in the color of the status.
To select a Stage, toggle the Queue heading button.
2. Once you've selected the desired Stage, select a Queued job and click on the Start button.
3. A Find field will open, here you can search for a Work Order or Sales Order by simply selecting between the WO or SO buttons and entering the number on the keypad. The Work Order you selected before pressing Start will be shown by default.
