Alerts are created for quotations and estimates in order to alert you of something that is incorrect or missing from a quote. This is in order to cover the business from human errors or potential profit loss. Alerts are set-up in Settings & Defaults.
Main Menu > Setup > Settings & Defaults > Alerts
Alerts are set-up directly in the Data Grid by simply selecting the Alert and Equation from the drop-down lists; and entering the Value.
When an Alert is triggered it will notify the user with a red warning containing the Alert description on the respective module. See image below:
