The Template functionality allows you to create an Estimates by using a template specifically for Estimates that occur frequently. This improves efficiency, reduces human error, and saves time.
You must firs create a Template Customer in Quotations Settings before you can create a Template Quotation or Estimate.
Create a Template Customer in Setup > Settings & Defaults > Settings > Quotations > Customer to which Templates are linked > e.g. Template Customer. See image below:
Follow these steps to create an Estimate Template.
Main Menu > Customers > Quotations > New
3. Create the Desired Estimates you wish to save as Templates, and click Save.
Template Estimates are ideal for when you get repeatedly asked for a certain print job. Follow these steps to create an Estimate from a Template.
Follow these steps to create an Estimate from a Template:
Once you selected Add Estimate > Template, the Templates window will pop-up.
3. Select the desired Estimate Template, and click Select.
Once you clicked Select, a Update Quotation Window will pop-up. This allows you to Update all the Prices and Parameters of the components in the Estimate. This is important especially if the Template Estimate has been created a long time ago and the parameters and prices has been altered in the time passed.
4. Click Update.
Once you clicked Update, all the available parameters in the Estimate will be updated,
5. When the update is complete, click Close.
Once you closed the Update Quotation window, you'll see the newly created Estimate in the Quotation. See images below:
