There are multiple ways to setup a large format press. Preference would dictate either a standard setup, where costs are represented individually as a cost centre, ink, press and material or more common option is to have the cost centre and ink price (the printing cost) represented as a fixed value per square metre.
In the latter scenario, a press is setup where the print cost is determined by a material linked to the running option. The price is setup to calculate to the nearest centimetre square. In this article we explain this type of setup.
When estimating, the print cost will populate under 'Other Material' and round-up to the nearest square centimetre.
