This management Dashboard allows you to track productivity and finances against set targets. In this way, management can see at a glance how the business is performing with instant, up-to-date information.
User Settings
Make sure to have Custom Reports set-up before attempting to use the Dashboard Module.
The Dashboard displays Report Charts in a grid of Rows and Columns. The Dashboards can be customised by navigating to Main Menu > Setup > Staff > Select Staff > Right-click and select Edit > Settings > Reports & Dashboards. See image below:
Dashboard - Automatic Refresh - The dashboard will auto refresh every 5 min.
Dashboard - Columns - The amount of columns displayed on the Dashboard.
Dashboard - Reports - An ordered list of Reports to display on the Dashboard - comma separated ID’s.
Dashboard - Rows - The amount of rows displayed on the Dashboard.
Edit Reports - Access Allowed - If Yes, the User is allowed to Edit Reports. For more about editing Reports, click here.
Reports - Access Allowed - Click Edit and a window will appear listing all the available Reports. Here you can simply select the Reports you wish to have access to. See image below:
a. Available Reports - All the Reports available in the current database will be listed here. Contact QuickEasy Helpdesk for Custom Reports.
b. Visible Reports - This shows the Reports the User has access to.

The Dashboard can be set to open when the application is started. This can be done by navigating to Main Menu > Setup > Staff > Select User > Right-click > Edit > Settings > System > Default Module - Dashboard.
Main Menu > Reports > Dashboard
Menu - The Menu button provides the following additional functionality:
Customise Charts - This enables the controls on all the charts to change the Chart Type, Filter and Sort on the Series. See image below:
Save Layout - Saves the Chart customisations and indicator layouts.
Restore Layout - Restores the Chart customisations and indicator layouts (Restore Layout automatically executes when the Dashboard is opened).
2. Refresh - The Refresh button will refetch data and redraw the dashboard indicators.
By right-clicking on an Indicator makes the following additional functionality available:
View Description - This will popup the Description which tells you more about the indicator. See image below:
Open Report - This will open the Indicator in the Custom Reports module.
Show Category Captions - Allows you to hide the Category tick labels when they are not adding much value and just wasting space. Visible only when Customising.
Show Series Captions - Allows you to hide the Series tick labels when they are not adding much value and just wasting space. Visible only when Customising.
