Sequential Numbering refers to printing numbers in sequential order on sets of forms or other printed pieces. Each form or piece gets a unique number and is printed in either ascending or descending numerical order.
Sequential numbering is commonly used on Carbonless forms, also known as NCR forms. For example invoices, purchase orders, contracts, etc. It can also be used on other printed items like raffle tickets where you need a unique identifying number.
When numbering is activated in BOSPrint, numbering is automatically added to the Quote Description, which is in turn copied to the Sales Order, Work Order and Customer Invoice. When a Quotation is copied, the numbering is copied exactly as it is on the old Quotation.

The starting number enables / disables the numbering on a Quotation. If the starting number is blank, the Numbered item in the Quote Description will be set to blank and not display on the Quote Letter.
