~ 4 servings
Ingredients
4 cups Potatoes (cubed)
4 large Garlic Cloves
1 box Chicken Broth (32 oz)
1/3 cup Milk
2 tbsp Butter
1/2 tsp Salt
1/4 tsp Pepper
Optional: Sprinkle of sliced chives or parsley
Instructions
Chop potatoes and place them in a large pot with the peeled garlic cloves. Pour the chicken broth in pot. If the potatoes are not covered, add additional water until covered.
Boil for ~15 mins or until the potatoes are tender.
Drain out the chicken broth. Add the butter and milk and mash the potatoes and garlic together with a potato masher.
Season with salt and pepper. Top with chives or parsley if desired.
Notes
4 cups of chopped potatoes is ~1.5 pounds or 2-3 medium-large potatoes.
You can use chicken bouillon and water if you don't have chicken broth.
