Ingredients
2 Eggs
1/2 tbsp Butter
2 tsp Milk or Water
Salt and Pepper
Your choice of omelet fillings: Shredded cheese, mushrooms, onions, peppers, diced ham, bacon bits, spinach, feta cheese, etc!
Instructions
Heat a small/medium non-stick frying pan and melt the butter in the pan.
In a small bowl, whisk the eggs, water/milk & salt and pepper.
Pour the egg mixture into the hot pan, allowing it to spread over the whole pan. Cover the pan to allow the eggs to set and cook on top (2-3 mins).
Cover half the omelet with your fillings of choice & fold the empty half over the full half. Allow cheese to melt if used.
Serve hot and enjoy!
Notes
For a more flavourful omelet, you can add additional seasoning to the egg mixture before cooking.
If using vegetables (onions, peppers, mushrooms, spinach, etc.) you can pan fry them first before adding them to the omelet to make them more tender.
For extra flavour you can serve with ketchup or hot sauce!
