Ingredients:
1 pound Lean Ground Meat
1 tbsp Oil
1/2 Medium Onion (chopped)
3 tbsp Tomato Paste
1/2 tsp Garlic Powder
1/2 tsp Chili Powder
1 cup Elbow Macaroni (uncooked)
3 cups Beef Broth
2 cups Cheddar Cheese (grated)
Salt & Pepper
Instructions:
Heat a large pan on medium heat.
Once heated, add the oil, ground meat, and onions. Break up the ground meat and cook until browned.
Stir in the tomato paste, garlic powder & chili powder.
Add in the beef broth, once boiling, add in the noodles. Reduce the heat to medium and allow the noodles to cook until tender and have absorbed most of the liquid. Stir occasionally.
Once done, stir in the cheese and season with salt and pepper as needed.
Let sit for ~10 minutes before serving.
Top with parsely if desired.
Notes:
If you notice liquid is running low too early, add some extra broth.
Ground beef is most commonly used, bit you can also used ground chicken, turkey, pork, etc. If you use meat with a higher fat content, spoon out the excess fat after cooking.
