On Tuesday, April 26, the David T. Howard chorus put on a performance at Midtown. It was a huge success. In the concert all of the grade levels combined sang a total of 7 songs. Seventh grade students started it off with the song Pompeii, which is by Bastille.
Throughout the night these songs were sang:
Pompeii
Found Tonight
Pure Imagination
A million dreams
Never Ending Story
Lights
We don’t talk about Bruno
All of these songs were loved, and on the song "Lights" by Ellie Goulding, the eighth grade chorus had finger lights to represent the song. Throughout the night there were also small group performances that were organized by the students.
The night ended off with "We don’t talk about Bruno". Ms. Hill even went above and beyond and added props to certain parts of the song to make the performance more interesting.
Without Ms. Hill this performance would not have been possible and everyone at Howard Middle school is so grateful to have her. We are excited for next year, and can’t wait to see the new songs that the chorus will sing.
