During the War in Ukraine, a Ukrainian man tried to stop a Russian convoy. The man stepped in front of many trucks in the convoy, forcing them to swerve to avoid him.
A Ukrainian man removed a landmine from the middle of the street. After seeing a landmine in the middle of the street, he picked it up with his bare hands and walked to the woods to deposit it.
Vitaly Skakun Volodymyrovych blew up a bridge, and in the process, blew himself up while stopping a Russian advance. Vitaly had volunteered to place mines on the Henichesk bridge. The Ukrainian marine battalion engineer realized that there wasn’t enough time, so he decided to blow the bridge. The Henichesk bridge connected Russian occupied Crimea to mainland Ukraine, and was a strategic point in the Russian offensive.
A brewery in Lviv has moved from brewing beer to making molotov cocktails. At Pravda brewery, workers are making petroleum bombs to prepare for a Russian invasion. They started making the cocktails to aid the Ukrainian Territorial Defense Force, a group of reservists who responded to Zelensky’s call to take up arms.
A farmer used his tractor to steal a Russian tank. The stolen vehicle is thought to be an ML-TB, a Soviet era multipurpose fully amphibious auxiliary armored track vehicle, which was stolen by a farmer and driven away.
