The world has been in shock since the novel coronavirus made its infamous debut in Wuhan, China on December 31, 2019. You’ve probably heard of the term “social distancing.” If so, you probably know that it means stay 6 feet away from other people. If people want Covid-19 to go away, the first big step is people need to leave 6 to 9 feet at least between them.
According to Robert Mathews, “A cough can travel around 6 feet, and a sneeze can travel about 9 feet.” Another big step is not going to large gatherings. Sports games, amusement parks, waterparks, really anything that has a risk of exposure. Staying positive and happy is also a big part of weathering through this. According to Golareh Safarian, “A lot of studies have been conducted over the years, and they have shown that staying happy can tie into your actual health.” Also, first5la.org says, “Be grateful.”
Think of all of the things you have in your life. Be grateful that you don’t have Covid. Be grateful that you still have things. Just take a moment and think. There are those less fortunate, and you have a lot. You should be thankful for it. These are uncertain times, and you need to be happy, and satisfied with every good moment. I lost my grandmother in June due to someone at her nursing home going to see family, who ended up having Covid-19 even though no one was supposed to leave. If you think you have Covid-19 I suggest you get tested. The symptoms are fever or chills, cough shortness of breath, congestion or runny nose, nausea or vomiting, and more. Make sure you stay safe!
