Ness Perspective Chapter: Part 1
I ran down the stairs at lightning bolt speed to find the principal. “What is wrong with my classmates?!” I thought.
I bumped into a boy running in the opposite direction which made my head hurt. Great. When I reached the first floor I saw Porky teasing someone. I used hypnosis ɑ on him because I was in a rush. Luckily it worked. But I guess that’s not too surprising.
“Thank you.” The boy said.
“No problem.”
“Also do you… Nevermind.”
The boy slowly walked to the stairs like he was thinking hard about something.
I fast-walked to the principal's office because that’s where I figured the Principal would be. When I made it there I heard a bunch of people screaming. But I didn’t care. I quickly opened the door, and yelled
“Excuse me, but someone just set off explosives in the math room. Everything's destroyed and there was a fire but i put it out an-"
“Did your teacher send you here?”, the principal interrupted.
“N- No but-”
“Detention for you.”
He handed me a slip of paper that looked like the go to jail Monopoly card. “I’m sorry but what is this you just gave me?” , I asked.
“Your detention pass of course, what else would it be?”
“Mmmkay. But don’t you care about the explosion?”
“Not really, tbh.”
“So you won’t get anyone to fix the damages?”
“Nope. It isn’t affecting me soooo.”
“But- You know what, I’ll handle this.”
“Good for you then.”
I walked out mad. Why is everyone like this? I went back to the classroom. Everyone was on their phones, probably texting about what happened. Even the teacher. I found the guy who set it off. “Hey, why'd you bring explosives to school.”, I asked.
“I didn’t. I took them from someone else’s backpack.”
“Thank you for that information.”
I walked away surprised that he would actually tell me that. Well now I should find the person who actually brought them.
I looked all through the halls, I was about to give up, then I accidentally bumped into a trash can.
I heard a loud scream and I freaked out which made me knock over the trash can.
Someone crawled out of it. He had grey hair, round glasses, a red hoodie, black shorts, and red shoes. “Alright where did you get the bottle rockets from?”
“Umm I made them.”, he replied nervously
“And where’d you learn how to make them”
“I dunno It’s just something I um do in my free time.”
“I can tell you’re uncomfortable and so am I. So one last question. Why did you bring them to school?!”
“I- well me, and a couple friends were gonna blow some things up after school.”
“WHY WOULD- um actually, I understand. You kind of remind me of a friend.”
“So do you…”
“Well bye… and don’t let anyone steal your stuff again. Also, are you gonna stay there?”
“Yes, goodbye.”
That was strange. He was just like… Jeff. Oh that’s right I should probably call him later. It's been awhile.
While walking back to the classroom I texted Paula.
-Hey Paula something crazy happened someone set off bottle rockets and no one cared, not even the principal
-What
-Yeah the whole class is a mess
-Oh really,,,, brb
Paula?
A few seconds later I heard on the intercom “School is closed until tomorrow and everyone is free to go home. Also sorry uh-”
“Ness.”, Paula said.
“Yeah, Ness for dismissing you like that also you have no detention.”
I got another text from Paula.
I handled it ;)
Anyways wanna go to the Runaway 5 concert on Saturday at the Topolla Theater

Paula seemed mad about something. I don’t get what she was mad about. She gets mad easily sometimes. I looked around the empty classroom. Oh right, I guess I have to go home now. I made it out of the school and Porky stopped me.
“Oh Neeeeeesssss!”,Porky whined, “I’m so bored. Please hang out with me until my parents come home.”
Porky's always bossing me around but I feel bad for him, his parents are evil and I’m his only friend.
“Ok. But can we go to my house?”
“We always do that though.” Porky complained
“No… We don’t. 95% of the time we go to the hill.”
“But Nessss, you can teleport. You don’t wanna be a bad friend do you?”
“Fine. But I choose where we go.”
“OK then. Don’t pick someplace lame.”
I might as well use this as a chance to talk to my friend. I took a deep breath, closed my eyes and imagined Winters. I started to run around in a circle as fast as I could.
“PSI Teleport β!”, I yelled.
Suddenly we were in a large snowy area.
“We’re here.”, I said with a smile since I didn’t end up running into something this time.
“Why did you bring us to Winters?”, Porky asked
“Don’t worry about that.”
“But this place is sooo lame. And I’m freezing!”
“Chill.”
“I am!”
We made it to Snow Wood Boarding House. Someone with a top hat and a school uniform was coming out of the gate.
“Hello. I haven’t seen you around here. Are you a Tessie Watcher or maybe new at Snow wood? I’m Tony.”, The kid said.
“Actually Tony I’m Ness. The kid behind me is actually I’m looking for someone.”, I replied
“Ness hmm. That name sounds familiar. Who are you looking for?”
“I don’t know if you know him or not but his name is Jeff.”
“Jeff Andonuts?”
“Yeah. You know him?”
“Of course I’m actually his best friend and roommate. Now that I think about it he might have mentioned you a few times. But… He might have forgotten about you.”
“Ok thanks, where is he?” I was getting kind of annoyed.
“I can’t bring you to him, sorry. It’s against the rules to bring people into the school. He would have to come to you.”
“Well, can you tell him to come here?”
“Ok… But after I get us some snacks from the shop.”
“What shop?”
“The shop to the right of you.”
“How did I not see that?”
“Because you’re an idiot.”, Porky said.
“Anyways, Tony thank you.”
“No problem.”
Tony went into the store. The store was small and for some reason it was right outside of the school. About 15 minutes later he came out.
“Ok Tony now can you please go get Jeff?”, I asked.
“Alright. I will. But only if Jeff wants to.”, Tony replied.
He went into the building and 33 minutes had passed.
Of course Porky had something to say. “Ness I don’t think your friend wants to see you honestly I’m not surprised you aren’t a very good friend you-”
I used hypnosis ɑ on him again. He should be out for about 30 minutes. About 10 minutes passed from then and I started to worry about whether Jeff actually wanted to see me or not. Then I saw the doors open. Jaff came out carrying a large bazooka
“Oh Ness it’s really you!”, Jeff exclaimed.
“Oh hi, I didn’t think you were coming because of...”
“Because of what Ness?”
“Oh nothing. It’s- nevermind.”
“I fixed my bazooka. It was broken again.”
“It is….” My mind trailed off to when Jeff repaired the bazooka and it did around 300 damage per attack and it never missed and it could be used infinite times.”
“NESS! Are you ok?”
“Yeah sorry I was thinking about… something. Uh, do you want to go to the Topolla Theater to see the Runaway 5 on Saturday with me and Paula?”
“Yeah Ness. That would be great. You should invite Poo as well.”
“You're right, If he’s not busy.”
“Do you want to go down to Lake Tess and test out some weapons? I brought the Gaia Beam.” Jeff waved around an energy gun in the air.
“HECK YEAH!”, I screamed.
We both laughed. Then Porky woke up.
“Ness why’d you cast a spell on me. So rude. Why do you hate me?”, Porky said in a whiny voice.
“It's not magic. It’s PSI.”,
“I don't care. Who’s that in the uniform? The Orange Kid?”
“What?! No!”Jeff and I both said.
“I’m Jeff. I'm friends with Ness.”, Jeff said.
“Why do you have such a generic name?” Porky asked.
“I don’t know. Why do you have such a… weird name? Blame Itoi.”, I said.
“Who?”
“You could not grasp the true form of 1101.”
“?”
“Anyways, Ness I assume this is the Porky you've been telling me about. , Jeff said
“Yeah.”, I replied.
“OH Ness you talk about me. I knew I was important.”
Jeff and I rolled our eyes to each other. 80% of what I told anyone about Pokry isn’t good.
“Can we go to the lake now.”, Jeff asked.
“Yeah, good idea. Sadly we have to take him.”
We walked to the lake and of course Porky whined the whole time. There were tents outside the lake. The Tessie watchers were out. They had cameras and binoculars. We found a good spot around the lake.
“Ok Ness, are you ready?”, Jeff asked with an unstable look in his eyes
“I think so..”, I said with a little bit of worry in my voice. He handed me the Gaia beam
“What about me?”, Porky asked.
“I’m calling the cops on you if I don’t get a weapon.”
Jeff looked scared for a second. “Fine.”
He handed Porky a pop gun.
“I guess I’ll take this,” Pokey said disappointed.
“Alright guys. FIRE!”
We aimed at the trees. It was fun until….
“Hey! Read the signs. It says Tessie Watchers only.” said a man at the camp, “Second. No shooting. You might accidentally shoot Tessie. Where’s you kids even get that stuff? Those weapons are illegal.”
Jeff looked at me for a second and pulled a pack of gum out of his pocket. A monkey came out of nowhere. He gave a piece of gum to the monkey.
“Bubble Monkey! Please help us get out of here!”, Jeff yelled.
Bubble Monkey chewed a bubble, floated up in the air and a purple creature emerged from the lake.
“Eeeeeeeeeeeeee! TessSSIEEEE!” Someone from the Tessie Watching Club yelled. They all got out their cameras and started taking pictures.
Porky, Jeff and I hopped on Tessie and we were off.
“What just happened?”, Porky asked.
“Where are we going?” I asked.
“To the other side of the lake.” Jeff answered
We finally reached land and got off Tessie.
“Thank you.” Jeff said to Bubble Monkey.
“That was really fun but we have to go home now. It’s probably late.”, I said.
“Oh crap it’s 6.” Porky checked his watch.
“How did time go so fast?”, I asked
“My dad is gonna kill me.” Porky said worried.
“Bye Jeff. Here are your weapons back.” I said.
I used PSI teleport β.
We were back in Onett.
“Uh bye Porky.”
“Ness. This is your fault. Do you feel bad now?”, Porky said crying.
“...”
I was tired of Pokey so I walked towards my home. I realized about halfway there that it was a bad idea. Hopefully he doesn’t do anything crazy.
