With Halloween approaching and corona cases rising I can say without a doubt that the holiday season will be different this year. Trick or Treating may be a part of your plan or you may be starting new traditions. Either way, it is important to stay safe during these critical times.
If you plan to stay inside this year it can be just as eventful as going trick or treating. Scary movies are a necessity. Some of the best are Hubie Halloween, Twitches, IT, Halloween Town, etc. You could have a Halloween marathon or just watch a couple of movies.
Another activity that’s precautious and fun is decorating your home. Nothing gets you in a Halloween mood more than a spooky house. This could be an all-day activity. Jack O'Lanterns would be the perfect addition. You could invite friends over and carve pumpkins outside 6 feet apart.
If you are distributing candy this year you could also take precautionary measures to be safe. It is suggested by the CDC to pass out candy in individual goody bags. Also, make sure that your hands are sterilized before passing candy out. If you plan on going trick or treating this year be sure to sterilize all candy before eating it and to wear a mask.
Halloween is expected to be a rainy night. Which goes amazing with the spooky season aesthetic, but can be dangerous to drivers. Therefore, be sure to drive slowly and be attentive to the many pedestrians.
I hope you have a fabulous Halloween and remember to stay safe!
