Georgia Bulldogs

So far Georgia teams have had a great year, starting with the Atlanta Hawks. Earlier this year, they made it all the way to the NBA finals! Then more recently, the Braves brought home a World Series Championship title! But, what we are going to be focusing on is the Georgia Bulldogs.

Currently, Georgia is ranked #3 in the nation. They started off their season defeating last year’s #2 ranked team, Clemson. The next week they defeated UAB 56-7. Then, they brought down South Carolina 40-13. The following week they had a shutout against Vanderbilt 62-0. The following two weeks they beat Arkansas and Auburn, bringing their record to a whopping 6-0. At this point #1 ranked Alabama had been beaten by Texas A&M, moving Georgia up to take their number one place in the nation. Georgia had continued their streak and brought down Kentucky, Florida, Missouri, Tennessee, Charleston Southern, and Georgia Tech. But unfortunately Alabama defeated Georgia in the ACC championship. Georgia still has hope, as they will still attend the playoffs, they will just not have the prime spot. Georgia is currently ranked as the 3rd best team in the country. This means that they will play Michigan in the Orange bowl to see who will go to the national championship. We have high hopes as we go into the playoffs, and maybe, just maybe, Georgia can bring home a National championship.
