If you haven’t noticed already, Blooket is on the rise. Everywhere you look throughout the day students are playing this game. It is a game that allows you to answer questions and be rewarded by things like new characters. Some come in packs and you have a chance to win a rare one like ‘King’. With that being said you may be wondering what is so special about this game? There are games like Kahoot and Quizizz that students used to love to play. So what made these students covert to using this gaming site more than the traditional ones?

First of all, a feature that makes Blooket so different from other games is that it has diversity in gaming options. You are also able to pick your own password based on the options the game provides for you. You also are given ten options to play the game with. While, for games like Kahoot or Quizizz there is only one game mode which makes the game eventually seem easy and become boring to players. But having ten different categories players will find more joy in playing the game and it won’t seem so easy. Additionally, in games like Crypto hack even if you do get the question correct you still may not get points. You may guess someone’s password incorrectly or may choose the box with literally nothing in it. On the bright side you could also get things like double or triple crypto. Or guess a person’s password correctly and steal money from them and transfer it to you. The fact that there is not an always guaranteed win makes it that much more exciting for players.

Furthermore, unlike other games, you can play the game by yourself. In the gamemode ‘Factory’ you can play your favorite game mode and win ‘units’. The goal of this category is to “make as much money as possible by getting different units that each produce a different amount of money at a different speed.” You can also unlock the rare character known as ‘King’;which players have a 1% chance of obtaining in this gamemode. The assortment gives players a chance to actually win things for all their hard work.

In addition to which has already been stated, you can have your own account in Blooket. Players can make a username and password of their choice and can sign in whenever they want. Whether that be at home or at school. Some benefits of having your own account is that you can decide what game you want to play and what topic it will be on. To further elaborate on that statement, let's say you want to know the flags of the world. You feel like you are uneducated and want to get better at recognizing them. If you go to ‘Discover’ at the top right hand side of the screen and type what you’re looking for they have a wide spread of games you can choose from. Some have more than a hundred questions about which flag it is showing while others have about a dozen of them.

In conclusion, these are some facts about Blooket and what makes them so different from other games that we were already familiar with. The diversity of the game is intriguing and makes the game exciting. Players have a chance to be themselves and creative, which not all games have. With that being said maybe you could make an account or play the game to see how amazing this game is for yourself.
