02. Diffusion across the membrane

•Take one of the agar jelly plates (1 per group).

•Use a cork borer to remove 2 small holes, one from each side of the agar plate.

•Into one hole add a drop of hydrochloric acid (it should not be on the surface).

•Into the second hole add a drop of sodium hydroxide (again not on the surface).

•Use your mac to take photos every min.

•You may need to add more acid/alkali if it slows down too much.
