10. Breakout

You have been working with your fellow retired astronomers for months to help open the Apollo Museum of History. The morning of the opening, you get to the museum early to double check that everything is ready to go for the busy day ahead. When you open the doors, your jaw drops. Everything is mixed up, out of order, or missing. What happened?!?!

Then, you see it. A note from none other than the mad astronomer, Plu To. He’s been mad ever since you said some of his information wasn’t up to astronomical standards or big enough for this museum. Here’s what the letter said:

Hello “Astronomers,”

Today is your big day and I have ruined it before it can even begin! Last night I was thinking about how you wouldn’t let me work on this project because my ideas weren’t “big enough.” Well I disagree! All ideas in science are big.

To get a little payback, I have shuffled and hidden some of your materials that you need for today. Artefacts are in the wrong place, numbers have been changed, and I have even hidden your big opening ceremony speech that you worked so hard on. I could have written a better one anyway. By the time you are reading this, you will have to work hard to find and fix everything I have done.

Don’t bother looking for me. I’m light years away! Good luck!

Your very bright friend,

Dr. Plu To

You have 45 minutes before the doors open for you to give your big opening ceremony speech. There’s no time to write another one! Can you fix everything and find the speech in time? Good luck!
