AT WYWLA:
The Green Schools Initiative is a new initiative happening at WYWLA focused on becoming a certified Green School of Promise, through Catawba College. This initiative will aim to improve our environmental education curriculum and introduce sustainability efforts!
IN THE COMMUNITY:
On September 17th, a student led peaceful protest against the use of fossil fuels was organized in front of the NC Legislature! It was organized by the Broughton’s Student Action for the Environment Club!
