JANUARY BETTER TOGETHER
Ashley and Hannah met last year and have become great friends.
We met on the first day of 9th grade when we were both new to the school. She asked me, "Hey, do you know where Health class is?" I replied, "No, but let's try to find it together!" We went on a long quest to locate the Health room, and eventually, the teacher had to come and find us. Despite getting lost, we had a lot of fun! As we continued to talk, we spent a lot of time together during our first year of high school, and we still stick together today. Communication comes easily between us. Ashley has a strong personality; she's talkative, and I enjoy listening to her. She’s very outgoing and passionate about a few things, and when she talks about them, you can see a whole new side of her. Ashley is funny, playful, and easy to talk to; she's a great friend. We always try to help each other and work together on school assignments, providing mutual support. We share many similarities, including our love for Korean dramas and a similar sense of humor.
-Hannah Forrester
Last year, we met in school and had most of our classes together; however, we didn't talk much at the beginning. Our friendship really took off at the start of this school year when we began sitting together at lunch and talking more. I would describe Hannah as sincere; she never lies, which I really appreciate because I know I can trust her to always tell me the truth. She is also trustworthy and very friendly; anyone can approach her, and she will treat them kindly. Hannah loves to have fun with the people she cares about and is passionate about her interests. The way her face lights up when she talks about the things she loves is genuine. We encourage each other to persevere and are always there for one another when we need support. We also share a love for the same shows and have a similar sense of humor.
