MARCH BETTER TOGETHER
Two freshmen have continued to grow closer throughout their WYWLA journey. Let's read their story...
We first met in the 6th grade. We had mutual friends and eventually sat together at the same table. I would always get on her nerves though, but we would always laugh about it at the end of the day! During our 8th grade year, we had many classes together which included the first half of the day. We would always partner up during group assignments and goof off while doing our work. Dakotah has a very humorous character. She is always laughing whether she is having a good or bad day. She is also one who is smart and courageous. Dakotah is an approachable person to reach out to. We support each other by helping one another with schoolwork. We also encourage each other through rough times, Dakotah will usually find a way for us to laugh about them at the end of the day. We hang out a lot outside of school; we go to football and basketball games at other schools, and we go to the movies as well. We both are funny, courageous, and adventurous. We work better together and can overcome anything.
-Peighton Bethea
We met in the 6th grade. We had many classes together in 8th grade and now we have classes together again. Seeing Peighton every day and always being around her has led us to be great friends! Peighton is a very sociable person. She is always laughing and having a good time. As a friend, she is very supportive and always encourages me to be the best version of myself, even in difficult times. We lift each other up by helping each other with schoolwork and personal problems that might pop up outside of school. Peighton likes to make serious situations more lighthearted and that can really help on a rough day! We are both smart, and funny, we like the same music, and we enjoy having a good time wherever we go.
