Bernice Huerte recently experienced a
Shania Twain concert.
Here is her story!
How long have you been a Shania Twain fan?
I’ve been a Shania Twain fan for about 8 years, I listened to her since I was 5 or six so maybe a little longer than 8 years.
What is so appealing about Shania Twain and her music?
Her songs are so catchy and it’s got that kind of swing to it that just reminds me of times when me and my family would travel and listen to our Shania Twain CD.
What was your favourite song by her? Did she perform it?
I’m torn between three songs- “Pretty Liar”, “That Don’t Impress Me Much”, and “Man, I Feel Like a Woman”. She performed all three, and the graphics behind the performances were stunning.
When did you go see Shania Twain and with who?
I went on October 18, 2023, with my aunts and my mom at PNC Arena for her "Queen of Me" tour.
How did you get ready for the concert?
I Facetimed my friend and showed him the different outfits, even though I quite literally didn’t wear anything I told him I’d wear aside from my jeans
How was the concert experience? What was the crowd like? How is a Shania Twain concert different from someone else's? Favorite parts?
The experience itself was immaculate. She was so energetic and the crowd reciprocated that energy. She was so interactive with her fans, and it was so unique. She even announced the gender of a fan’s baby, it was a boy! She was so sweet, and my favourite part was when she had a costume change and performed “That Don’t Impress Me Much”. Her costume was the original outfit she was gonna wear for the music video of "Man, I Feel Like a Woman".
