Ephesians 2:14-18
Peace
14For he himself is our peace, who has made the two one and has destroyed the barrier, the dividing wall of hostility, 15by abolishing in his flesh the law with its commandments and regulations. His purpose was to create in himself one new man out of the two, thus making peace, 16and in this one body to reconcile both of them to God through the cross, by which he put to death their hostility. 17He came and preached peace to you who were far away and peace to those who were near. 18For through him we both have access to the Father by one Spirit.
Romans 5:1-2

1 Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, 2 through whom we have gained access by faith into this grace in which we now stand. And we boast in the hope of the glory of God.
Philippians 4:6-7
Peace
6 Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. 7 And the peace of God,which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
Matthew 5:9
Children of God are Peacemakers
9 Blessed are the peacemakers,
for they will be called children of God.
There are two types of peace...When Jesus refers to peace, He makes a distinction between and man to man type peace, and a type of peace that only He can bring...The man to man type peace is a peace we can search for and find in this world...It is the kind of peace we want in our lives and in our families and with our friends...The type of peace that He gives, is a different type of peace that He left His disciples...It was the type of peace He was talking about when He approached Jerusalem on the way to His upcoming arrest...It is the type of peace that St. Paul says in these words: "For He Himself is our peace."...St. Paul, in his letter to the Romans, that "we have peace with God through Jesus Christ our LORD...Jesus wants us to know both kinds of peace...He tells us, when we are peacemakers in this world, we will be called Children of God...
In our world where we often hurt, and have death, despair, frustration, war, oppression, and rejection -there is this type of perfect peace we search for...Jesus is the Prince of Peace (Isaiah 9:6)...There is a peace in and of God...This peace is Spiritual and harder to define...It comes from above, from heaven...Jesus, the Prince of Peace, was sent from above to us...He brings and teaches us purpose, joy, forgiveness, hope, faith, love, and peace...Because of Him, we can live a joyous life, in faith, hope, love, and the peace that He teaches...This peace comes by loving Him, keeping His word, and trusting always in Him...
