2 Peter 1:19-21
Scripture from God
19 We also have the prophetic message as something completely reliable, and you will do well to pay attention to it, as to a light shining in a dark place, until the day dawns and the morning star rises in your hearts. 20 Above all, you must understand that no prophecy of Scripture came about by the prophet’s own interpretation of things. 21 For prophecy never had its origin in the human will, but prophets, though human, spoke from God as they were carried along by the Holy Spirit.
2 Timothy 3:16-17
Scripture from God
16 All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, 17 so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.
Matthew 5:17-19
Least Command of Scripture
17 “Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them. 18 For truly I tell you, until heaven and earth disappear, not the smallest letter, not the least stroke of a pen, will by any means disappear from the Law until everything is accomplished. 19 Therefore anyone who sets aside one of the least of these commands and teaches others accordingly will be called least in the kingdom of heaven, but whoever practices and teaches these commands will be called great in the kingdom of heaven.
God inspired the Bible...God is the Bible...That is why all Scripture is God breathed...Our prophets who wrote some of the books of the Bible, were carried along by the Holy Spirit...The authors of the Bible wrote what God has inspired them to write...So each of them included the things in their books what they felt from the Holy Spirit...If a subject or topic was inspired, it was written...Everything is included in the Bible that is needed...
Everything in the Bible has some importance...Even the least of the commands is and are very important...Everything that God wanted in the Bible, is included...The Bible contains some seems that seem hard to understand, and we wonder why they were included in the Bible...Other parts, it seems are somewhat of a mystery...But God is hard to understand, and very much complex beyond our human reasoning...God is also, much the mystery to us, because of this...
Jesus came after the Old Testament was written...He did not come to abolish any of the Laws that Moses wrote or change anything the prophets had put down in writing...In fact, Jesus came to fulfill all that was written in the Old Testament... Jesus is like the Bible...This is because Jesus is the Bible...He is the Word...The Word became flesh...The Bible is like every cell of Jesus...Like our body and its parts, some parts seem more important...But Jesus tells us all the Scripture is important, even the least of the book's commands...That is why He had them included...Jesus taught us that whoever teaches the commands of the Bible will be called great in heaven...When we read the four biographies of Jesus in the four gospels, it is the Bible coming alive...It is our Bibles and the Biblical Word in actual flesh...Those lucky enough to live at that time and live in around Jerusalem, got to see the Bible in the flesh...One could ask the Messiah, any question they had about the Bible and He could have answered that question in perfect human context...Jesus is the eternal word...Jesus is the truth, the way, and the life...Since Jesus is Truth, those who believe in Him, can believe the Bible as Truth...
Since we know that the Bible is God-breathed, it includes everything we need in it...Nothing is missing, not one thing...Otherwise God would have inspired one of the authors, to include that one missing thing...
