Use Your Heart to Find God
13 You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.

Jesus is the Light of this World
12 When Jesus spoke again to the people, he said, “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.”
13 The Pharisees challenged him, “Here you are, appearing as your own witness; your testimony is not valid.”
14 Jesus answered, “Even if I testify on my own behalf, my testimony is valid, for I know where I came from and where I am going. But you have no idea where I come from or where I am going. 15 You judge by human standards; I pass judgment on no one. 16 But if I do judge, my decisions are true, because I am not alone. I stand with the Father, who sent me. 17 In your own Law it is written that the testimony of two witnesses is true. 18 I am one who testifies for myself; my other witness is the Father, who sent me.”
19 Then they asked him, “Where is your father?”
“You do not know me or my Father,” Jesus replied. “If you knew me, you would know my Father also.” 20 He spoke these words while teaching in the temple courts near the place where the offerings were put. Yet no one seized him, because his hour had not yet come.

We are the Light of this World
13 “You are the salt of the earth. But if the salt loses its saltiness, how can it be made salty again? It is no longer good for anything, except to be thrown out and trampled underfoot.
14 “You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden. 15 Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. 16 In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.
Blaise Pascal said that in faith there is enough light for those who want to believe and enough shadows to blind those who don't...Everyone is given the same amount of Light...So I think Pascal is implying that if our Father gave us less Light we could not find Him, and if He gave us more Light then everyone would find Him and believe...And with the amount of Light we are given, God can become hidden from us, if He wants to be and stay hidden, if that is His choice...Because if God does not want us to see Him, we would never see Him...And sometimes I wonder if He likes to be hidden, and why not just give us a little more Light...So given these circumstances, we can only see God, if He wants us to see Him and find Him...If He for some reason does not want us to see Him, He could do that...
But the Prophet Jeremiah reminds us that we will seek and find God when we seek Him with all of your heart...In the Bible, the heart is the center of the Spirit, the center of being close to God and our Father wants us to use not only our minds to find Him, but also as importantly and maybe more importantly our hearts...So we must remember the heart helps us with the seeing of the Light...God draws people to Him with the Light He has given us and put in our hearts...
So the Light can come through the heart, but comes in other ways too...The Light comes through Creation, because we can look around and see trees and grass and rocks and the sky and sun, all things and believe that Someone had to be involved in the beauty of the world, and how and why it got here...The Light comes through our Spirit...Man is Spiritual and has an indwelt Holy Spirit, given to us by God and we seek Him because of our Spiritual Nature and the Holy Spirit...We see the Light through other men and women and they can help us with our Light, as we sometimes need more Light and more hope..
.And thus we have a relationship and feelings toward creation, and our relationships with other people...But the Spiritual Relationship is a Most Unique One...Our relationship with God is our most important relationship...And God helped us to see the Light a little more when He sent His Son to dwell among us, as Jesus is the One He sent us to show us what God is like, and what His Image is and Attributes are and we can do better, if we are more like His Son and follow Him, believe in Him, and to follow His Teachings...
God is LOVE...God is Perfect...So God is in a Holy and Sacred position, which if one believes in Him, then He deserves all the Glory in our lives as Jesus explains in His Priestly Prayers...God is worthy of our worship and praise...Let us see the Light...
