Jesus Knows All Things
30 Now we can see that you know all things and that you do not even need to have anyone ask you questions. This makes us believe that you came from God.
Jesus is our LORD in the flesh...He is perfect, holy, and good...Yet, He was one of the most humble ones, if not the most humble, ever to walk the earth...How can this be?...This is very difficult for man...How can One be perfect, holy, and good and still be humble.?...He was with God in the beginning and came from God...He knows all things...And still He is humble...
Humility takes on a form of truth with the Son of God...When one is not humble, they think they are a little bit, or a lot better than they really are...The non-humbled man thinks he is better than others...Humbleness must have some self confidence, and at the same time not have a low self esteem or inferiority complex of themselves...So humbleness most be a balance in one's thinking about one's self...Humbleness thinks much of others...Humility is self-giving...Jesus is always thinking of others and giving to others...We can see how humility unites with the proper balance of self-confidence (versus over-confidence or too low of confidence), self esteem (versus high self-esteem or having to low of self-esteem), and one's inferiority complexes (versus feeling superior or inferior to another), and unselfishness...God knows His attributes, and is not at all arrogant in showing Himself (in His Son)...
Jesus represented God, when He came to earth and He represents God now...He is our Mediator before God...And God has made His Son our Savior...
God is not only Perfectly balanced in all His attributes, but these attributes are perfect at all times...Perfect, Holy, Good, and Humbleness are three of the attributes of God...These are also attributes of Jesus...Jesus never spoke of something He wasn't...He never thought more of Himself than He should...He never thought He was too good for man, any man...Yet, man is imperfect, sinful, and limited...Man has many faults...Yet, Jesus still LOVES us...He came to help us with our faults, and with all our sins...In fact, He not only came to help us -He would die for us...He would die for our sins...He came to save us, to be our Savior...The most powerful and Almighty figure ever to come to earth, and the One who has the ability to create anything out of nothing, would die on the cross out of LOVE for us...The One who came to earth could do not only do any miracle at anytime, He can do anything...So He could have walked away from the cross, at anytime but chose to die like a man would die...So He stayed on the cross to suffer and die for mankind's sins...He humbled Himself for us and came to teach, suffer, and live with us...
He speaks of Himself as a Servant...And God is our Creator...He humbly came to the earth that He created to serve and help man...He came to earth to be a part of us and teach us...He teaches us the things that are the most important...He teaches us the eternities, because He is eternal...Jesus came to serve...He came to serve other people, and in His serving others -He would save many others...Why would the most powerful, wisest, most perfect, most holy, and most good come to serve man?...It is because He LOVES us...He is Perfect LOVE...There is Perfect Humbleness in God's LOVE...
And while God is Perfect, Holy, and Good -man is not...So out of LOVE, God sent His Son to help us...For two thousand years man still struggles to be perfect, holy, and good...But when Jesus came to dwell among us He did show us the Way...N. T. Wright says, “Made for spirituality, we wallow in introspection...Made for joy, we settle for pleasure...Made for justice, we clamor for vengeance...Made for relationship, we insist on our own way...Made for beauty, we are satisfied with sentiment...But new creation has already begun...The sun has begun to rise...Christians are called to leave behind, in the tomb of Jesus Christ, all that belongs to the brokenness and incompleteness of the present world...That, quite simply, is what it means to be Christian: to follow Jesus Christ into the new world, God's new world, which He has thrown open before us.”...
